Welcome to Faros Spirit, I’m Yanni, your guide on the journey to inner transformation and spiritual growth.
The combination of my (second) spiritual awakening along with my passion for music drove me to explore sound healing. With over 20 years in playing music, I trained in sound healing to deepen my connection with its healing potential. Since then, I’ve integrated singing bowls, shamanic drums and other instruments to creative healing vibrations.
I’m also a Reiki Level 2 practitioner, using Reiki to reduce stress, relieve pain, promote relaxation, and support the body’s natural healing processes. In my personal life I practice shamanism, following the cycles of the seasons and honoring the land as part of my spiritual path. Through shamanic teachings, I draw inspiration for my sound baths that shape my intentions for each sound bath.
My second Spiritual Awakening – how I ended up here
In my twenties, meditation and self-reflection came naturally to me, leading me to discover the chakras and shamanic journeying. However, as my thirties unfolded, I became immersed in demanding corporate jobs and unfulfilling relationships, drifting further from my true self. Numbing the discomfort with nightly drinking, working out to exhaustion and spending money on unnecessary things, I eventually reached a breaking point – see photo. As I layed in recovery, unable to distract myself with my usual escapes, I had no choice but to sit with myself. And in that stillness, something shifted.
The turning point came when a close relative did for me, my first past life reading. That Akashic Records reading sparked a deep need for change. Afterwards I sought out spiritual teachers and intuitive guides to assist me and eventually I studied under some of them.
Through this journey, I confronted my shadow, broke free from many limiting patterns and reclaimed the parts of myself I had abandoned. By integrating both my light and shadow, I transformed my life and now, I help others do the same.
Why Faros Spirit?
Faros means lighthouse, symbolizing my role – not as a leader seeking followers, but as a guiding light for those navigating their own healing. As a name it serves to honour my Greek roots but it also gives space for growth. As I expand into music production, retreats, and collaborations, Faros Spirit may become a platform for my own music or even a collective of musicians and sound healers. The future is open, full of possibility and excitement.
But beyond the name, there is an unseen resonance… a quiet recognition between those who seek and those who sense. Faros Spirit is not just a beacon; it is a frequency. Those drawn to it already carry a part of its light within them, and together, we illuminate the path ahead.
